Tamar Curry is an on again, off again artist who has been trying to make webcomics since 2002.
He originally created and drew a webcomic called Blue Zombie under the alias "Esrix" during his senior year of high school along with his long distance buddies John Woodling and James Kennedy. The comic ran with mild success, but suffered from sporadic updates between long drawn out periods of time. This was primarily due to Tamar's free time being consumed by 1) attending classes at the Savannah College of Art and Design, 2) being the main method of transportation for his roommates while living in Savannah, or 3) sleep.
In 2008, after a year of no updates, Tamar officially declared Blue Zombie closed and went on to pursue other ideas. He is hoping that he will be able to keep up with Lumia's Kingdom a lot better than he did Blue Zombie.
When not drawing comics, Tamar is usually reading comics, playing video games, thinking about video game design, making websites, or sleeping.
If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to him.
Daniella Orihuela-Gruber is Tamar's girlfriend and a life-long lover of comics. She's the one who pushes Tamar to update the comic as often as he can. She also withstands a lot of verbal abuse, mostly in the form of Facebook posts in which Tamar claims that she says mean things to him and beats him up a lot (all in good fun, though).
She acts as unofficial editor for Lumia's Kingdom, checking for grammar mistakes, misspellings and making sure the overall content is on par with previous pages.
She also runs the blog All About Comics. You should go read it. Like, now.
Charles Whittington is an awesome man who rides a wonderfully pink and black motorbike and is fascinated by Tamar's patellae. On the rare occassion that they are in the same state, he will often chase after Tamar, demanding to stroke his knee caps.
And when they aren't in the same state, Charles offers some opinions on Tamar's artwork and panel composition.
Charle's work can be read at Normality Comic.
